21 - Via Colori Festival - Columbus, Ohio - 9/19/09

In an attempt to have your festival experience better, I have moved all festival reviews to a new site - ohiofestivals.net

But fear not! You can still read about the Via Colori Festival at this address –

  1. Hi Kristian. I enjoyed your blog of the festival. Great pics of the event, too. You got my rear end and right hand behind the hug booth. haha. That's unfortunate you missed out on a good robohug. At least you got some good cookie and paw-paw conversation. With the cookies next door, it was definitely the comfort corner of the festival. Oh, and they were "almost" free hugs because each hug cost 2 compliments. Maybe see you at Gallery Hop in the Short North!

  2. Hey, thanks for the comment, Jon, and the clarification. Feel free to write what other types of hugs you had listed, as it was an interesting list. I keep thinking there was a ravage hug or something of the like. Robohug was what I remembered because I remember that one being performed.
Will definitely pick one up next time!

  4. Now see, I should have known you would have a blog and that it would be well written. Course, I have a preference for this particular dispatch as my bald head is prominently displayed in it.

  5. Sounds like you had a good time. If this wasn't a culinary blog, I'd think you were edging in/competing with me and my photoblog.

    Great job!!

  6. Hey Kristian. I thought i'd check in again. Our hugs? We had: Robohug, Bro Hug, Old-Fashioned, Sweet Embrace, Paranoid Hug, Zombie Hug, and Group Hug. I think that is all of them. Oh, and the Long Uncomfortable Hug, a crowd favorite. I might setup during Gallery Hop in the Short North in the future, although we'll see about the cold weather yet. It's the first Saturday of each month and there is often some random fun stuff happening. Check it out. Peace.
